blog post #5 "What is Poverty?" response to 'in your journal'

Poverty to me seemed like someone who wasn't trying hard enough and that needed to get rid of their pride and ask for help. But after reading "What is poverty?" I realized that most people that are stricken by poverty can't help it. They are trying as hard as they can but they aren't able to keep a job or eat every day. It's amazing the stories that where in the article. They really made me look at it differently and more respectfully. Because maybe the people that are in poverty, are the ones that are trying the hardest.
